So, what is it we do?
As you may have read on our homepage, we create bespoke Android apps for our clients. This often also means making a back-end for the Android app on a server, so we are willing to do that for you as well. Between work for our clients we set about making our own apps and games for Android which can be viewed on our Portfolio page, along with a selection of our work for clients which isn't restricted by NDAs.
What can you put in an app?
Pretty much whatever you need. From Facebook integration to Google maps, we can get it working nicely in your apps. Obviously there will be some things that we have never done before, but that wont deter us from putting in the extra effort in finding the best solution for your needs. What goes into your app is limited only to your imagination, budget and time frame.
What do we need from you?
From you, the client, we will need all your requirements, any designs, colour schemes etc. Basically, any extra information you can provide will help speed up the whole process because it leaves a lot less down to guess work. The less we have to guess >> the fewer changes you will ask us to make >> the less time it will take >> the less it will cost.
How long does it take?
Well that depends entirely on the app. The more features that you want in the app the longer it will take. As mentioned above, the more guesswork we have to do due to an incomplete brief, the more time it will probably take. Another big factor against timeliness is if you, the client, changes the requirements halfway through a project. Obviously, this can't always be helped, and we are fine with that. We just need you to know that it will have an impact on the time it takes to finish the app.
How much does it cost?
They say that time is money, and in this case it is true.
For most apps, we charge based on how long it takes.
Payment terms are agreed to before work starts, that way we know everybody is happy.
For some jobs, we might ask for a fixed fee rather than a time based one, for example if you come to us asking if this bug can be fixed or if that feature can be added.
What else do we do?
Android development isn't our only skill.
If you have designs for a website or requirements for a desktop application, we can help you out there too.
We can build your sites using PHP, HTML5 and CSS3 - or Wordpress, if that's your thing.
As for Desktop applications, we use Java and JavaFX
